36 ain't no ton of bricks...

Happy birthday to me...

Katrina and her mom have been bugging me for weeks about what I wanted for my birthday. After some hemming and hawing over some accessories for the cool telescope Kat got me last Christmas, I had finally come down to a wish list, of sorts, which included a really neat Leatherman tool we saw at Costco, which I've always wanted since seeing the opening scene of the movie "Speed" 11 years ago.

Granted, these material desires got blown out of the freakin' water by the three best birthday presents a dad could ever ask for - Emily, Nicki, and Kayla.

We'll be departing for Colorado this coming Friday morning (the 22nd), which means I'll meet my daughters on Monday, July 25th.


...'course, that Leatherman would be cool, though...
