142>32>2>1/0, or why 3 is a magic number and 5 is prime

142.

That's how many people placed inquiries about Emily, Nicole and Kayla the first weekend their profile was posted on the Colorado adoption page.

32.

That's how many families were left after the initial weeding-out process.

2.

That's how many families the placement committee got the 32 down to after closer examination.

1.

That's the family that was chosen to adopt these girls. (Us, for those of y'all feeling a bit loagy with these long summer days).

/0 (that's divided by zero).

That's how many of the committee members opposed us taking the girls. Meaning their decision was unanimous.

142>32>2>1/0 = 3 (the magic number) and 5 (which is prime).

I don't do math. But I'm glad the numbers worked in your favor. ;)

So, is Scott going to post from Colorado, you think? I'm dying to know how today's visit went and would love to hear how they are doing as the week progresses. Is anyone in contact with him that could give us occasional updates?
