To my faithful readership

Just wanted to let everyone know, we haven't gone to Colorado yet. Not to worry - all is still good, we still get the girls, yadda, yadda, yadda. There were just some scheduling conflicts that hopefully will be resolved this week. So, so much for getting to meet them on our anniversary (the 8th), and my birthday (this Saturday, the 16th) isn't looking too good, either (although there's a slim possibility). Anyway. Just wanted you all to know we're still here in Washington.

I haven't posted because it's honestly been too emotionally draining to get online lately. Actually, it's been too emotionally draining to do much of anything, really. Not that this isn't the most wonderful thing that's happened in our married life - it's because it is the most wonderful thing that's happened in our married life. To say there's lots of change to consider is a gross understatement.

But, we're still excited. Apologies to those of you who wrote personally in the last few days - I've been meaning to write back, but...well, you know.

As soon as we have word on when we're going, I'll let everyone know.
