A quick favor to ask...

If y'all haven't checked out my friend and brother Joel Anderson's mu''a'vo' mu' - A Klingon Word from the Word , please do so, even if you're not a Star Trek fan. Especially check out this particular podcast - for those not in the know, the word he offers to me and my new family means "success!" in Klingon.

I try to make it a habit to check out Joel's podcasts every few days. I know he updates about once a week, and I always find what he has to say insightful. But to have a personal message in the middle of his podcast, directed right at me and my family, is such an honor I don't even know where to begin.

So. I'm asking a favor on behalf of Joel. It should take about a minute of your time or so, but if every regular (or even semi-regular) reader of this blog takes part, it'll do a really nice thing for a really great guy. Go to this link and click on "Vote Now!" in the box that reads "stats for this podcast." It'll ask you for your e-mail address - don't worry, they won't do anything with it other than use it to verify you as a valid voter (I'm guessing so people can't stuff their own ballot boxes). There will be a place to leave a comment - I'm pretty sure this is optional, but I bet Joel gets them, and if you've read his stuff, it'd be nice to drop a line or two there. Finish up, then go to the message they send you in your e-mail and click on the link to cast your vote.
