Bunkie Choices

kindredorphan wanted to know how the bunk choices were made. It does seem a bit odd that Nikki, being the younger one by two years, would have the top bunk, which is usually considered by kids to be the primo choice, one that falls to the eldest child by default.

This one wasn't a parental choice. The girls, from the moment they heard they were getting bunk beds, had it all planned out. Nikki would be in the sky, Emily would be at ground level. No particular rationale from them for this; it's just what they wanted. So that's what they've got.

Homecoming countdown: 11 days.
