Okay, y'all, here's how it went:

We spoke to the lawyer and the social worker for over an hour. It's still down to us and one other family at this moment, but there are some complications that might not work for the other family. (These complications aren't insumountable for us, but are of the nature that we aren't going to share with anyone, as they are part of the girls' adoption story for them to share and them alone).

We may be called to come to Colorado sometime in the next...whenever (probably a few weeks?), and, if so, at that point, we'll be the family.
