"We have so much as Americans we don’t realize.”
Well, I've been saving up my energy to write a post all about our upcoming adoption from Ukraine, and I still intend to do it. But, for now, check out this article from the Alamogordo News about a family who just recently went through what we're hoping to go through. It actually explains the process we're going through right now. Even the group mentioned, ukrainianangels.org, is the same one we're working through. (Check out their site, too!)

this sounds really cool, and challenging... My wife and I hoped (and still hope) to adopt from out of the country as well, at the time we were looking at Russia since we had a contact there. A guy spoke at a church where he was running a home for battered women in Russia and after a while all of sudden two or three babies were shwowing up a day on the door steps. They had a lot of babies that needed homes. In this world we need to look out for the children... I will praying for you both...
Scott, what amazing pics and stories. I can't even believe how many pages there are, with kids and parents who were brought together from across the world! I am totally looking forward to see Family #? with a photo of your new kid(s). I am praying for you and Kat! :)
I just read the article and pored over the website. Wow. I'm so excited for you guys. Andy and I might just add to our family this way someday. We've talked about it for years. I trust you will be updating your blogging community often as you go through this process. Can we have you guys over for dinner sometime in the next month and catch up?
