While I'm bragging about how beautiful my adopted state is, let me point out that Beacon Rock State Park is as far away from Vancouver as Irvine is from Long Beach.

You would'nt be trying to sell Vancouver to those of us still stranded in L.A. would you?
i wouldn't call us "stranded", mike. i look at it more as an short term investment account with insane returns. just think about it... we buy a house for a few 100K and then suffer for awhile in this 72 degree year round weather for a couple of years. once you're ready to sell you've made 50%, 60%, even sometimes 100% return on your dough and you can buy awhole lot in the NW real estate with CA money!
not bad for a few years worth of "suffering", eh mike?
