Prayer Request

Just got an e-mail from my dear friend Romy (http://romaryka.lunanina.com/) that her dad, Fred, is going in for surgery this morning. Here's what she wrote:

hello all,
sorry for the mass email. i'm writing to ask for your prayers or good
thoughts this thursday, 27 may, for my father, who is going to have a
biopsy on one
lung. as some of you know, he has been sick for a long while and
recently his
doctors have found a mass in his x-rays. the mass has grown 300% in
the past
year and this is the first time he has been well enough (yes, irony) to
have
the procedure done. which it will be, today at noon. he is, as the
whole
family is, worried. your thoughts and prayers will help get us through
the
procedure and the rest of the day. as i know from past experience. :)
