Keeping one's sanity

Well, the adoption is still a daily struggle, a great deal of which comes from the problems we've been having with our law firm representing the birth mother (that we're picking up the tab for). I don't want to go into it all right now, but suffice to say they're not doing much to improve the reputation of lawyers in general.

Or, to put it a different way, Kat and I have begun to call the law firm by the name of the fictional law firm on the TV show "Angel." To quote Katrina:

"Calling them 'Wolfram and Hart' * makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside."
